| 1992 |
Bryan, Strange, Smith Insurance Agency, Inc. is formed by Jerry D. Bryan and Herbert E. Strange, Jr., partners in the public accounting firm Bryan and Strange Inc., along with Debbie Smith. |
| 1994 |
Bryan and Strange acquires Insurance Securities, a DeRidder independent insurance agency, approximately doubling the Agency's premium volume. |
| 1999 |
Bryan and Strange opens a branch office in DeQuincy, establishing a physical presence in Calcasieu Parish. |
| 2003 |
Bryan and Strange acquires the book of business of Fontenot Insurance Agency of Oberlin, giving us a presence in Allen Parish. |
| 2003 |
Bryan and Strange acquires DeQuincy Insurance Agency, greatly expanding our market share in DeQuincy and surrounding communities. |

Michael R. Cournoyer is President and General Manager of Bryan and Strange Insurance. Mike has been with Bryan and Strange since 1995, and President since 2001. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP™) licensee, and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. Mike has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Jerry D. Bryan is Vice-President, Co-founder, and Co-owner of Bryan and Strange Insurance. Jerry is also Owner and President of Bryan and Strange Inc., a public accounting firm. He holds a Doctor of Management degree from the University of Phoenix, and an MBA from Florida Tech.

Kathy Simmons is our Commercial Lines Representative, handling all lines of business insurance. She has been with Bryan and Strange Insurance since 1994, coming to Bryan and Strange in its purchase of Insurance Securities, where she had worked since 1992. Kathy holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation, and is a Notary Public.

April Roberts is a Personal Lines Representative for Bryan and Strange Insurance. She also handles all new Workers' Comp accounts. April has been with Bryan and Strange since 2005. She holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Workers' Compensation Professional (CWCP) designations, and has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Lamar Salter Technical College.

Connie Reeves is a Personal Lines Representative with Bryan and Strange Insurance, handling all lines of personal insurance. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1991, and has been with Bryan and Strange since 1999. Before joining Bryan and Strange, Connie worked for State Farm and US Agencies. Connie holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
